- Platform Tennis is an outdoor racquet sport generally played in cool or cold weather.
- Courts are on raised platforms, allowing heaters under the deck to keep the playing surface playable no matter what Mother Nature throws at you.
- The court is smaller than a tennis court and is surrounded by tightly strung wire fencing that lets players keep the ball in play after the ball hits off the court & bounces off the screen.
- It is scored just like Tennis, except there is only one serve.
- Platform Tennis is a very social sport, grab some friends, let's play!
- The sport is affectionately referred to as “Paddle” and is a great way to get outside during the Winter here in New England.
This is Platform Tennis!
No experience, No problem!
Platform Tennis is easy to learn and you can start to play matches as soon as you pick up a paddle, especially if you have racquet experience. If you don’t have any experience playing join one of our Platform Tennis 101 Classes or Book a Private Lesson. Both are great ways to learn all about the game from our Coaches. Scoring Strategy & Rules are all covered in our 101 Class!
Stay Active, Socialize and Unwind at KCM
