Clarissa Pelaez
Pickleball Coach
Clarissa Pelaez has been an ambassador for the Kingsbury Club since early 2021 and recently joined the PRO staff in January 2022 working alongside her husband in growing the beginner level and youth pickle ballers.
Clarissa was born and raised in Merida, Mexico, and graduated from the University of Yucatan with a degree in teaching the English Language. Once she graduated she worked in private schooling and universities in Merida teaching English as a second language. She later came to the U.S as an exchange student to gain more knowledge and further her degree. She currently lives in Franklin Ma. and during her time here she has been working with kids as a nanny and enjoys teaching and doing fun activities with them.
Clarissa has no prior sports experience and started playing Pickleball only after being convinced by her husband to try the sport out! It was a way for them to connect and grow as a partnership while spending time with each other. She has been hooked ever since, she spends most of her free time on the courts improving her game. You can often notice her as the fiery, energetic, and happiest player on the court. If she isn't on the courts, she is often watching professional pickleball matches on TV or connecting with her family back in Mexico.
