ABOUT
- Players are able to apply thru Monday, March 18th 2024. The Selection Process will begin Monday, March 24th.
- Ladies weekday daytime doubles league encompassing clubs from the Metro-West area, the season runs September through mid March. Pre-Season practices and round robins begin the 2nd week of September, matches begin the first/second week of October.
- Player’s APPLY in the Spring for the following Season! Once you APPLY there is a Selection Committee composed of Players from the previous Season voted on/selected by the players from previous season. Rostered Full Time Players from the (23-24' Season) will be emailed to vote on Team Selectors to select the team for the upcoming season.
- At Kingsbury Club Medfield you APPLY for a Team AS AN INDIVIDUAL, NOT A PAIRING!
- Kingsbury Club Teams consider various factors when selecting players, including playing ability, sportsmanship, versatility, team spirit, and communication skills. These are just some of the areas that our selectors take into consideration when forming rosters. It's important to note that player movement between teams will likely occur annually. When applying for team(s) it's advisable to consider your reach, target, and safety options to increase your chances of selection. It's essential to understand that previous season participation does not guarantee a roster spot. Our system is designed to provide opportunities for players to achieve their goals, and our coaching staff is dedicated to helping you reach them.
- Teams can vote to add players after consulting with the Director of Racquet Sports, Head Coach, and elected Team Captain. This can be done based on the team's needs, but not before July 1st.
- If a player formally makes a roster and withdraws not due to medical exemption, this player is subject to at least a two year membership and non-member ban into all Racquets programs and lessons at the discretion of the Director of Racquet Sports This ensures fairness in Roster Selection for our faithful tennis community.
