As a Club we are looking to get our Members the most accurate rating possible and help connect our players for Leveled play. DUPR is the most accurate global rating system in the sport, trusted by the world’s premier Pickleball clubs, professional tours, and recreational players alike.
How to Join Kingsbury Club Medfield on DUPR
Step 1: Download the DUPR App.
Step 2: If you've already played in a tournament or league, you may have an account waiting for you to claim. From the sign up page, search for your name, location, and age to claim your existing account, or create a new one if needed.
Step 3: Tap the "Clubs" icon in the top bar, then search for Kingsbury Club Medfield to find us. Tap on our page and select "Join Club." Easy!
What is DUPR?
What will our club use DUPR for?
It’s important you get a DUPR because your rating will be used exclusively for entry into all club DUPR Leveled programming--clinics, leagues and ladders and for skill assessment and improvement tracking with lessons. We do offer Programs and times to play that are Leveled (Recreational/Intermediate/Advanced). DUPR is not required but our Coordinator will approve you based on skill into those Leveled Play Programs.
Do points scored in a match affect ratings?
Yes! Fight for every point and every game because they all count--not just wins or losses like traditional ranking systems.
What if I’m unrated and I play against other unrated players?
That’s okay! Those scores will retroactively count once you or the other players play against someone who does have a DUPR. This is called “connectivity” and it’s a beautiful thing. One match result is all it takes to have a DUPR rating, and 5-10 match results is all it takes to have an even more accurate rating.
